Built for stamina
At two minutes, the test is mostly about energy management. Very few people can click at their 10-second speed for this long, and trying is the fastest way to post a bad score. Expect your 2-minute CPS to land at roughly 65–80% of your 10-second CPS.
Benchmarks for 2 minutes
| Clicks | CPS | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Under 540 | under 4.5 | Beginner |
| 540–660 | 4.5–5.5 | Average |
| 660–840 | 5.5–7 | Good |
| 840–1,020 | 7–8.5 | Very good |
| 1,020+ | 8.5+ | Exceptional |
Strategies that work
- Share the load across buttons. Every mouse button counts here, so alternating left and right buttons with two fingers splits the work between them. This is different from butterfly clicking, which uses two fingers on the same button.
- Micro-relax. Every 20 seconds or so, consciously relax your forearm for one click. It resets tension without costing much speed.
- Ignore the counter. Watching the numbers makes people speed up and burn out. Focus on rhythm and check the result at the end.
Is this useful for clicker games?
Yes. Idle and clicker games reward steady clicking over minutes, not seconds. This test shows your realistic sustained rate, which helps you see whether a manual strategy is worth it or whether an in-game auto-click feature is better. If a game allows it, our auto clicker guide explains the options.
