How to calculate Apex eDPI
eDPI = mouse DPI × Apex sensitivity. Enter both above and the calculator also shows your cm/360: how far you move the mouse to turn a full circle in Apex Legends.
Where to find your Apex sensitivity
In Apex Legends, open Settings → Mouse/Keyboard and find Mouse Sensitivity. ADS sensitivity has its own multiplier per optic if you turn on per-optic settings.
Check your mouse’s DPI in its software (or measure it with the mouse DPI test if you’re not sure the label is accurate).
What’s a typical Apex eDPI?
Apex has fast movement and lots of close-range tracking, so players often use a bit more sensitivity than in tactical shooters. A common range is 800–1600 eDPI (800 DPI × 1.0–2.0).
The bar under the results shows where your setting falls compared with that range. Being outside it isn’t wrong. It’s just a useful reference point if your aim feels too twitchy or too slow.
Converting to and from Apex
Apex uses the same engine yaw as CS2 (0.022), so the same number feels the same in both at the same DPI. From Valorant, multiply by 3.18.
For exact numbers between any two games (including a DPI change), use the sensitivity converter.
Apex sensitivity tips
- Tracking matters more than flicks in Apex, so test your sensitivity on moving targets, not just static ones.
- Leave mouse acceleration off in the game’s settings file and in Windows for consistent aim.
- If you play mostly close range, a slightly higher hip-fire sensitivity with a lower ADS multiplier can be a good balance.
Once your sensitivity is set, build consistency with the aim trainer.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good Apex Legends eDPI?
Many players use roughly 800–1600, such as 800 DPI × 1.0–2.0.
Is Apex sensitivity the same as CS2?
Yes, both use the same yaw value, so the same sensitivity and DPI give the same cm/360.
