How to calculate Fortnite eDPI
eDPI = mouse DPI × Fortnite sensitivity. Enter both above and the calculator also shows your cm/360: how far you move the mouse to turn a full circle in Fortnite.
Where to find your Fortnite sensitivity
In Fortnite, open Settings → Mouse & Keyboard and find X-Axis Sensitivity and Y-Axis Sensitivity, shown as percentages. Use the X value here.
Check your mouse’s DPI in its software (or measure it with the mouse DPI test if you’re not sure the label is accurate).
What’s a typical Fortnite eDPI?
Fortnite eDPI is usually written as DPI × X sensitivity in decimal form (6.4% = 0.064). By that measure many players sit around 40–70 eDPI, for example 800 DPI at 5–8.5%.
The bar under the results shows where your setting falls compared with that range. Being outside it isn’t wrong. It’s just a useful reference point if your aim feels too twitchy or too slow.
Converting to and from Fortnite
With the percentage system, CS2 sensitivity ≈ Fortnite X % × 0.25 at the same DPI. 6.4% ≈ 1.6 in CS2.
For exact numbers between any two games (including a DPI change), use the sensitivity converter.
Fortnite sensitivity tips
- Keep X and Y equal unless you know you want different vertical speed.
- Building and editing need fast hand movements, so many builders play a little faster than pure aim games like Valorant.
- Targeting and scope sensitivities are separate percentages. Tune them only after your base sensitivity feels right.
Once your sensitivity is set, build consistency with the aim trainer.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good Fortnite eDPI?
Many players use roughly 40–70, for example 800 DPI at 5–8.5% X sensitivity.
Why is my Fortnite eDPI so small?
Because the sensitivity is a percentage. 6.4% is 0.064 as a decimal, so 800 × 0.064 = 51.2.
